But fine for occasional use like a road trip. I've got it on one bar, would like to go lower.
The kit isn't very expensive and so there is good value here. I bought this for traveling in a rural NW Washington area (Kitsap peninsula).
Also, using the cassette deck adaptor, be sure to use the control on the separate receiver module to reduce the output (it's in the XM menu) else it overpowers the cassette function very easily. Some caveats - trees and mountains do interfere with signal.
It works just fine in the city of Seattle area. Lastly, it's kind of hard to hide for antitheft purposes and the vent mount system allows it to slip a bit.
I'd buy it again for that sort of purpose.
Delphi SA10102 SKYFi2 Vehicle Adapter KitKit works good but it would be better if it was hard wired to FM.
Great wireless XM car adaptor. No need to use cassette, since the cradle has a built in FM modulator. The quality of sound through the car stereo is awesome, and when traveling, there is no need to change channels on the radio.
The product is exactly what was on the site. I got a great price and fast service.
For under $12 this kit allowed me to contiue to use my older XM unit. If you check around you will find that the antenna alone sells for $25+. Fantastic deal.
