Wish it would come with the mini jack that plugs right into the dash on newer vehicles and/or upgrade in-dash stereos.
This was the perfect replacement for a hard-to find item, many thanks for the professional response.
The XM Skyfi2 portable radio can now be plugged into any new car without paying for additional services. This adaptation will continue to work only as long as my remaining 3 year agreement with financially troubled SiriusXM is honored. The cassette adapter was an unneeded option that may work better for older vehicles.
This was replace old 5 yr old cradle that just wore out. The connection to antenna seem to get loose over time and loose reception. Was such a good price I bought 3 - hope my Skyfi2 lasts that long.
That worked great in my caravan. Similar to the skyfi. The kit comes with an adaptor that allows you to mount the radio to a vent. Plug and play. Now I just take the radio with me in which ever vehicle I'm driving.
